Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.....

Assalammualaikum wbt....

Here again, I apologize for the long leaving without any notification done..! I'm back! The new version of me~

For so long, I didn't write here. For my blog, I missed you, so much..

Ok guys, Alhamdulillah, Thank Allah for the graceful opportunity and golden chance He granted me. I've already being hired as a registered STAFF NURSE in one of private hospital in Melaka. Thank you Allah, for everything!

Ok. Now let me update to you 1 by 1...

I was actually got 2 offers from 2 different hospitals and places. 1 was in Malacca and the other 1 was in Ipoh. To be honest, I was struggling all over semenanjung just to try any luck everywhere. I, at first was offered to join one of private hospital in Ipoh but at the same time, I was too hoping that I would get the offer from Malacca, So I could consider both pros and cons of these hospitals. The HR manager of Ipoh Hospital called me as he really wanted me to work there. But, due to some considerations, I had to refuse the offer.. And Thank you Allah, again, I was called for a job in Malacca. And, here I am now.. Syukur Alhamdulillah...

Started on 15th of March 2011, I wore my new uniform (with nursing cap-which I never had before) and walked to the nursing department with a new spirit as a staff nurse. Being alone in an orientation program was really hilarious, but that was the fact! I was the only candidate in the room! haha~ But, the nice thing was, I could directly absorb the knowledge they wanted to give to me. Alhamdulillah... I had so much tests during my orientation program.. From pharmacology to drug calculation, all procedures which somehow I locked it in a room inside of my brain :) Much efforts for me to pull them out and the worst thing was I had to search for them-scattered everywhere!

24th of March.
I was placed in my permanent ward. Surgical ward! I never imagined that I would be placed in this ward but now, here I am.. Trying a bit hard to catch up everything in depth. Here, we don't have any Housemen or Medical Officers.. ONLY consultants! Which means that, we have to do all procedures that usually done by the housemen. I was so shocked at the 1st time in the ward. We acted like the HO for the consultants, follow rounds, explain regarding pt's conditions, analyze results- all are compulsory! I have no time to be like before. I need to feed my self with all skills and knowledge for sure!!! Hurm, hopefully, I could speed myself up to be a trusted nurse for my patients.

So far, today is my 3rd day in the ward. Most of people said that my ward is the most horrible place to work, but, yet I don't think so. And I hope this feeling would permanently maintained as now~ Throw away all negative thinkings, make it as positive as I can..

As for now, I realized, I LOVE TO BE A NURSE. I love taking care of my patients. Seriously. I was like crying, deep down in my heart, not because I am sad. NO. I was so thankful that I got this job. NURSING is a noble profession, and to all my juniors, never feel regret because at the end of the day, you might feel the same way as what I feel right now. Be sincere in whatever you do, because the patient knows and of course the Almighty, KNOWS everything we do. InsyaAllah, good deeds will be granted with good things too... Believe in Allah!

Oh ya, especially to my Mental Health and Psychology lecturer during my 3rd year in UKM, -Mr Utharas-Thanx a lot. Even though I had never put an interest in your subject, but somehow, I was in debt of thanks because now I realized the important of your subject - even though I was once getting headache in your class :)

To all lecturers, Thank you so much!
Friends, let's fight to the moon~

Pray for me ya!
